PRESIDENT
Robert LoForte, CBCP
Robert LoForte is the President of Veritas Solutions Group where he oversees all commissioning, energy efficiency, and engineering efforts. Robert has over 12+ years of experience on some of New York City’s highest profile projects in the commercial, luxury residential, hospitality, healthcare, and financial services markets. Robert provides a hands-on approach and an attention to detail that ensures his clients’ needs are fully met. He particularly enjoys being called upon to take a deep dive into an issue to find the solution that is both expedient and cost effective. Over the last decade, Robert developed the commissioning group at MIH Systems Group from the ground up, successfully delivering over 50 projects totaling more than 15 million square feet.
Robert holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland - College Park. He is a Certified Building Commissioning Professional of the Association of Energy Engineers, holds a professional certificate in HVAC Design from New York University and is also an active member of the Building Commissioning Association. Prior to his tenure at MIH Systems Group, Robert worked in the healthcare construction division of Lend Lease.
VICE PRESIDENT
Ken Corio, PE CEM
Ken Corio provides senior leadership at Veritas Solutions Group, possessing more than 15 years of HVAC design, commissioning, operations, and construction management experience. Ken maintains a professional engineering license from the State of New York and oversees all special inspection activities performed by Veritas. Ken provides support on highly specialized projects that require a creative approach. Ken is also a founding partner at MIH Systems Group, where he oversees all energy efficiency retrofit projects. Prior to his tenure at MIH, Ken held positions as a design engineer at Jaros Baum and Bolles and in construction management at Structure Tone.
Ken holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rutgers University and a Master of Science in Real Estate Finance from New York University's Schack Institute of Real Estate. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of New York, and a Certified Energy Manager of the Association of Energy Engineers.
DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS
Ethan Letz
Ethan Letz serves as the Director of Operations at Veritas Solutions Group where he manages the daily operations of the team and ensures all projects operate in the most efficient and organized manner possible. Ethan leverages his prior experience providing OEM commissioning support to assist contractors in getting over the necessary hurdles to reach the finish line. Prior to this role, Ethan worked as a commissioning engineer and project manager at MIH Systems Group and contributed to some of the company’s largest projects.
Ethan is an active-duty Master Sergeant in the U.S. Army National Guard with multiple deployments completed abroad. He utilizes his leadership skills to manage and guide the Veritas team and ensure systems and operations reach peak efficiency. Ethan holds a bachelor's degree from Rutgers University, and is also a Certified Mechanical Inspector with the International Code Council.
